Engage With Your Teen

Today’s puzzle builds critical thinking skills and gives you and your teen a fun, low-pressure way to engage with each other.

So much of our conversation with our teens centers around things like…

  • school/grades/homework
  • future career/college plans
  • friendships
  • boundaries (curfew, for example)
  • household chores

Here’s something simple, a little off-the-wall, that you can spend 5-10 minutes engaging with your teen…without any of those stressors involved.

2 Truths & 1 Lie

2 Truths & 1 Lie consists of 3 statements.  Your job is to figure out which one is the lie!

This game often draws on background knowledge (important for making inferences), but sometimes you can narrow down your choices by using good reasoning.

These all work together to help build stronger critical thinking skills.

Have fun with this one!  And don’t rush the process…critical thinking is NOT a race!

Here’s the solution!
